Ability for customers to make payments to their accounts on-line.
Analox has a truly international customer base and many of our customers keep different office hours to us here in the UK at Analox Towers.
Some of our account customers like to pay by credit card and we received a really great suggestion that it would be good if customers could make payment to their accounts, outside our normal office hours, without doing risky things like sending credit card details by e-mail.
So, we now have a shiny new facility that allows you to pay securely using our web site whilst we in the UK are snoozing in the land of nod or even when we are awake but you are not in the mood for any social interaction.

Underwater Intervention
New Orleans is famous for many things, such as Louis Armstrong, The Saints, Mardi Gras, The French Quarter and probably less so - commercial diving activity. Underwater Intervention is one of the largest shows dedicated to subsea work and is a chance to meet some new contacts, see some old friends and discuss the issues and challenges in one of the most interesting industries that Analox serve. (It also has lots of bars, clubs, live music and restaurants!).
This year I’ll be presenting a paper with Larry Janicek of LBJ Maritime which will be a taster session for our official Hypergas MkII training course. I look forward to seeing you there and as its my birthday during the show – feel free to buy me a drink!

New apprentice for Analox
Apprenticeships are a fantastic way of acquiring skills and actually getting into work, which are the main reasons I decided this was the route for me. Along with gaining an NVQ in Business and Administration you get to learn real life situations and you also obtain experience which is what many employers are looking for in prospective job candidates.
From leaving school in 2008 I went to college and found that it wasn’t for me as it only covered theory of subjects and hardly any practical work, so when I came across the apprenticeship program with the North East Chamber of Commerce it was exactly what I was looking for. So in late 2009/ early 2010 I signed up with the Chamber and they found me a placement after searching in the March, which would last for a year to complete NVQ level 2. After completing the year placement the NECC started looking for another placement for me to carry out my level 3 NVQ which is how I started my job at Analox.

Welcome...
back to Analyse Analox, I can’t quite believe that I am issuing out the first newsletter of the New Year already.
I hope you had a great time over the festive period, I'm certainly looking forward to the year ahead with plenty of exciting plans to work on (I'm a sucker for a spreadsheet, what can I say?!)
From presenting at conferences to hosting a CO awareness roadshow for divers, 2012 will see more of our staff out visiting you, our customers. We want to hear from you; whether it’s a compliment, a complaint or an improvement request, please let us know what you think. It is the only way that we can continue to develop and offer everyone a great service along with fantastic products.
For me, 2012 is already starting to be a great year. I have relocated to a new corner in the office, visited some customers, created a whirl of campaigns and I am now being consumed by web stats and wave activities, not bad for only being back in the office for a few weeks!
We have some exciting projects coming up and I can’t wait to keep intouch with you all about them, so keep reading the blog for updates.
