SUMMARY OF KEY TERMS
The following is a summary of the key provisions in our Terms and Conditions:
1. We are Analox Sensor Technology Ltd. Our address is 15 Ellerbeck Court, Stokesley Business Park, Stokesley, North Yorkshire, TS9 5PT.
2. The following terms relate to the supply of gas monitors and their spares and accessories.
3. The prices for our products and services set out on our website are inclusive of VAT and of all delivery charges unless expressly stated otherwise and are subject to change on 10 days notice posted on this website.
4. For a period of 15 working days from the date on which we provide you with telephone or other mobile device you have a right to terminate this agreement (“Cancellation Period”). You will be provided with full details of your cancellation rights when the goods ordered by you are delivered.
5. You may lose your right to cancel the agreement between us if you start using our goods prior to the expiry of the cancellation period.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. All our goods are guaranteed for a period of 12 months against defective materials and workmanship. In the event of any such defect please return the goods to us at the address stated below in their original packaging, together with proof and date of purchase, and we will refund you your postage (if any) and, at our choice, refund you their purchase price, repair and return them to you, or send new goods to you as a replacement. Goods which have become defective for any other reason, such as accidental damage or failure to use in accordance with the operating manual, are not covered by this guarantee. If you return such goods to us, we will notify you of this, and we will, according to your choice, either return the goods or repair them for you if possible, but in each case at your expense. This guarantee is in addition to and does not affect your statutory rights.
2. The goods will be delivered to your address as soon as they are available. Our estimated delivery time is currently two weeks.
3. We will make every effort to supply the goods on time, but you will appreciate that we cannot be held responsible for delays due to weather or other circumstances beyond our control. In this case we will complete the work as soon as reasonably possible.
4. You should regularly check that your goods are in proper working order. This is particularly important if you are taking your goods with you on any extended journey.
5. However carefully your goods are manufactured and tested, they may still have some defect or from time to time require repair or maintenance. Thus before using your goods for the first time, and whenever you intend to use the goods for any important event or for any special purpose, please check in advance that they are properly maintained and in full working order and consult us if necessary. If the goods fail to work because of some defect and it is covered under our warranty (which is in addition to your statutory rights) we will of course repair or replace it. We will not be liable for any loss of profit or expenses you incur as a result of any defect or failure of the goods.
CANCELLATION RIGHTS
Your right to cancel.
1. Following receipt of the goods, you have a period of 15 working days within which you may cancel any order and the associated contract by sending us written notice of cancellation. The period of 15 working days commences on the day after the goods were delivered to you.
2. Following any cancellation of the contract you are required to return to us within 21 days those goods which you no longer wish to purchase.
How to cancel.
3. If you wish to cancel an order please give us written notice of your cancellation. This can be done by email to info@analox.net, by fax to +44 (0)1642 713900 or by writing to us at 15 Ellerbeck Court, Stokesley Business Park, Stokesley, North Yorkshire, TS9 5PT. You must include your Order Reference Number in the written notice, and clearly specify which goods you wish to return.
4. Where you cancel your order after the goods have been delivered you agree to return the goods to us by following the procedure set out below.
Returning your goods
5. To arrange collection of the unwanted goods please contact us by email at info@analox.net. You must include the Order Reference Number in your email3. Alternatively you may choose to return the goods to us either in person or by post. If you send the goods to us by post, you will be responsible for any damage caused during transit.
6. You are responsible for all costs of returning the goods.
Taking reasonable care of the goods
7. You must take reasonable care of the goods from the time that they are delivered to you until the time that they are returned. If you fail to return all parts of the goods or otherwise if your failure to take reasonable care of the goods means that we reasonably believe that resale will not be possible, you agree to pay us the price of the goods as compensation for our loss.
Refunding your money
8. We will make all refunds to the card used for payment within 30 days of the date of cancellation. The refund will be the cost of the returned goods and the original delivery fee.
Your rights
9. This Returns Policy does not take away any rights you may have under consumer law. For more information contact your local Citizens Advice Bureau (www.citizensadvice.org.uk).
10. This Returns Policy is in accordance with your right to cancel a contract formed at a distance under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
