Hyperbaric Analysers

Analox is one of the only companies in the world able to provide gas analysers for use in hyperbaric atmospheres; decompression chambers and diving bells.

Analox is unique in being able to provide Carbon Dioxide, Oxygen and Hydrocarbon analysers monitoring real time partial pressure gas concentrations at pressures up to 60 Bar Absolute, in the presence of helium.

Analox Hyper-Gas MkII™ - The Analox Hyper-Gas MkII has been designed for use when diving in contaminated waters, decommissioning platforms, or working on pipelines.

It is currently the only hyperbaric hydrocarbon analyser available on the market. It has been specifically designed for use in the diving bell, and offers a fast response to potentially fatal anaesthetic concentrations of vapourised hydrocarbons in the diving bell. The analyser operates from the 24vDC power supply in the diving bell, is complete with audio visual alarms for gas and flow, and is provided with a datalogging capability.

For further information on the dangers of hydrocarbons in the diving bell, please download the familiarisation video (29.4Mb Mpeg file).

Analox Sub MKIIF™ - The Analox Sub MkIIF offers real time decompression chamber monitoring and control. It provides continuous real time information on the levels of Carbon Dioxide (CO2), Oxygen (O2), pressure, temperature and humidity in the chamber or diving bell atmosphere at pressures up to 60 BarA.

The sensors within the Sub MkIIF have been specifically designed to operate in hyperbaric atmospheres with a high helium content.
The Sub MkIIF consists of a main control panel and up to 2 Remote Sensor Blocks (REMS). The control panel is the primary user interface used to set alarms, calibrate the sensors, download data, and control the relay and mA outputs, it also provides power to the Remote Sensor Blocks.
Two REM’s are available, the REM 1 contains the sensors for O2, CO2 and pressure, this is designed to be located inside the decompression chamber or diving bell, where it provides a local partial pressure readout of atmospheric conditions.
The REM 2 provides monitoring of temperature and humidity, this is also designed for installation in the decompression chamber itself.

Analox 100 HYP MkIII™ - The Analox 100 Hyp MkIII is a cost effective portable partial pressure Oxygen analyser. It is quick and easy to calibrate and use, and offers real time information on the partial pressure of Oxygen. It is typically used for O2 monitoring in decompression chambers, diving bells and Hyperbaric Lifeboats, and for confined space entry in areas of submarines.
